Wife helps snare paedo husband after recognising his penis in vile online messages

A paedophile was locked up after his wife helped confirm his identity by recognising his penis in lurid photographs he sent to undercover crime busters posing as young girls.

Convicted criminal James Kemp has served 18 months behind bars and will be on the sex offenders list for 10 years after he sent explicit images to a paedophile hunting group he thought were children aged 12 and 13.

The group, Child Protectors Scotland, confronted the 42-year-old at his home in Glenrothes, Fife, in January 2018 – with his shocked wife left sickened by what she was shown.

The 47-year-old was shown photographs by the group which she used to confirm it was her husband of six months in the images – recognising his penis and watch.

The wife was left relieved when her husband was later jailed – but says she blames herself for ever trusting him and for letting him into her life.

The pair matched on a dating website in February 2017 and tied-the-knot just six months later in August that year.

The wife – who suffers from the painful health conditions fibromyalgia and arthritis – says she is angry after her “charmer” husband “fooled me, my dad, and my eldest daughter”.

Reflecting back on the moment there was a knock on their door from the Child Protectors Scotland group, She said: “Straight away, I wanted to see the proof and I told them to come in. That was it, my world just went ‘bang’.

“They showed me it and I said it was 1,000,000% him. There were pictures of him with his hand down his joggers, that I bought for him, and he pulled them down.

“You could see his wristband and his watch. I identified everything, even his bits.”
