Pervert caught by paedophile hunting team

A pervert from Glasgow who believed he was grooming a young girl for sex has been jailed

Andrew Smith of Glasgow appeared in Glasgow Crown Court where he admitted sexual offences including sexual communication with a child.

Smith contacted the online profile he believed belonged to a schoolgirl.

Smith immediately sent sexually charged messages and stated that he was in a sexual relationship with his 15 year old step daughter. He went onto say how she carried out a sex act on him whilst wearing her school uniform. However, it was later established that it was fantasy and lies.

Smith was arrested on 24/5/2018

He was sentenced to seven months imprisonment and was told to register as a sex offender for ten years
