Pervert caught by paedophile hunting team ‘The Innocents Angels ‘

A pervert who groomed what he believed was a child online has been jailed after he was caught by paedophile hunting team ‘Angels of Innocence’

Sean Grant of Manchester appeared at Manchester Crown Court where he was sentenced for the following offences:

• Sexual communication with a child

• Inciting a child under 16 to meet following sexual grooming

The court was told that Grant had contacted what he believed was the online profile of a young girl.

The pervert sent a string of sexual messages and arranged to meet the girl for sex.

However, the girl did not exist and was instead an adult from paedophile hunting team ‘The Innocents Angels ‘ who pose online as children to catch sexual predators.

The judge sentenced Grant to 12 months imprisonment 

A sexual harm prevention order for five years was put in place and he was ordered to register as a sex offender for 10 years
