Pervert caught by paedophile hunters

A pervert who groomed what he believed was a schoolgirl online has been caught in a paedophile hunter sting

Joshua Rhodes, 25 of Toton, appeared in court for sexual communication with a child

The court was told that Rhodes contacted a profile online that he believed was of a schoolgirl. He sent sexually explicit chat with a view of sexual activity with the child

However, it was in-fact online child protection team – Keeping kids safe. They handed their evidence to police and Rhodes was arrested

Rhodes received 8 months suspended sentence to be completed over two years.

– 18 month sex offender program through probation 

– 10 year sex offenders register

– 10 year sexual prevention harm order.
