Perverts in decade of abuse

TWO ‘vile’ paedophiles have been jailed at Birmingham Crown Court for inflicting a decade of sustained sexual abuse on five boys.

Robert Hill, 63, of Asprey Avenue, Smethwick, was imprisoned for 13 years by Judge Robert Orme while Michael Dunne, 41, of George Street, Coventry, was given a six year sentence.

They were convicted of 26 offences including indecent assault and gross indecency.

The men were also were put on the sex offenders register for life while Hill was given a sexual offences prevention order banning him from making any contact with children under the age of 16 on his release from prison.

Philip Parker QC, prosecuting, had told the court how both men had consistently abused boys as young as 10 at two houses in Smethwick
