Charity man is jailed for year ; Sex assaults on two boys
A BIRMINGHAM charity worker was this afternoon jailed for 12 months for indecent assault.
Allen Kemp (47) of Bunbury Road, Northfield, was found guilty of one charge against a young boy and previously admitted a similar charge.
Neither of the boys involved were in the care of the Acorns Children’s Hospice, where Kemp worked as a driver.
In passing sentence on him Judge Derek Stanley said the impact on one of his victims had been considerable.
‘I am in no doubt that having to come to court and give evidence has aggravated the damage so far as he is concerned and you are responsible for it,’ he said.
