A man has been sentenced to 14 years in prison after being found guilty of sexual offences against two underage girls.

James Robert Bristow, 35, pleaded guilty at Amersham Crown Court to four counts of sexual offence, including rape and sexual assault.

The assault on the girls occurred in Milton Keynes between October 1998 and September 2010.

Bristow, formerly of Babbacombe Road, Torquay, has now been placed on the sex offenders list for life.

DC Rena Richards, from the Child Abuse Investigation Unit, said: “The victims in this case were very young and justice has been done.

“The abuser has been incarcerated for a very long time, however the effects of what happened are incalculable.
