A pervert has been jailed after repeatedly raping a child 

Shane Heseltine-Holland, 27, attacked his victim four to five times during a campaign of “manipulation, coercion and control.”

The former Dover Grammar School pupil was jailed for 29-months at Canterbury Crown Court for the attacks, carried out about 14 years ago when he himself was aged 13

His sentencing was adjourned earlier this year for psychiatric reports

But psychiatrists refuted his self-diagnosis telling the court it served as self-distraction from being an “opportunistic sex offender.”

Judge Mark Weekes sympathised with Heseltine-Holland’s “deeply troubled childhood” but voiced worries over his attitude as an adult.

“I am concerned to see elements of victim blaming and self-justification within the pre-sentence report, and to note that even as a fully grown adult, you seem unable fully to appreciate the fact that your sexual behaviour was directed towards a young girl who could not possibly have understood or appreciated what was going on,” he said.

The court heard Heseltine-Holland launched multiple attacks on his defenceless victim over two months.

He pleaded guilty to two counts of raping a girl under 13 and assaulting a girl under 13 at an early opportunity.

Heseltine-Holland, of Guildhall Street in Folkestone, received a third of the sentence he would have, if he were to be sentenced as an adult.

He, who could be seen breathing heavily throughout the hearing, will be subjected to notification requirements for five years on release from prison.

Ramsgate man downloaded worst kind of child abuse images after sentencing for similar offences

A twisted paedophile was caught with vile pictures of children being abused on his phone during a routine visit by police.

Kristian Fernandez, from Ramsgate, had been subject to a Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO) imposed on him after he was sentenced for similar sickening offences in 2009.

An officer saw an indecent image of a child when checking a phone Fernandez had at his home in Clements Road on June 6, 2019, and the mobile was seized.

Further investigation uncovered a collection of indecent videos and images, including 16 at category A – the worst kind as categorised by police and the courts.

Fernandez was later arrested and charged with three offences, relating to more than 20 category A, category B and category C images and videos.

He was given a two-year, three-month sentence at Canterbury Crown Court on Wednesday after admitting three counts of making an indecent image of a child.

Ramsgate paedophile with horrific child abuse videos avoids jail

A paedophile hoarding horrific videos of young children being sexually abused, raped and tortured has avoided jail.

Christopher Parish was caught with 266 Category A images – the worst kind – after police raided his Ramsgate home.

The 34-year-old’s IP address was traced to his house in Coleman Crescent, after an international surveillance agency picked up suspicious behaviour.

Judge Rupert Lowe branded Parish’s sordid library, which included images of torture, “the most disgusting activity” at Canterbury Crown Court.

“You form part of a market which people feed when they decide [to do these acts],” he said.

“It is the most disgusting activity and people who do what you do encourage it.”

Parish interrupted judge Lowe twice during the hearing on Tuesday, prompting him to say to his lawyer: “Your client has a lot to say for himself doesn’t he.”

The sex offender’s home was raided in June 2019 when his laptop was seized.

Unemployed Parish denied his vile actions but then pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent images before trial.

His collection also included 107 Category B and 66 Category C images – a significant number were videos – prosecutors explained.

“Some of the material was deleted and inaccessible but some remained on the computer,” prosecutor Nicholas Jones explained.

“There was also evidence found of web searches for incest and bestiality.”

Judge Lowe said with probation willing to help Parish and the offence being his first, he could impose a community order.

“If I see you again you will find it’s a very different result,” he said.

He ordered Parish to complete 150 hours of unpaid work, 35 rehabilitation requirement sessions, to undertake the Horizon accredited programme, a five-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and notification requirements.
