Duntocher pervert Daniel Mailey repeatedly sent sexual messages to 15-year-old girls

A Clydebank man has been banned from being around children under 16 after he admitted indecent behaviour towards two 15-year-old girls.

Daniel Mailey sent messages of a sexual nature to one of the girls on December 9 and 10, 2017 – and did the same to the second between June 1 and July 1 last year.

Sex beast raped sleeping woman then told her ‘it’s not the first time’ when she protested

A sex predator raped a sleeping woman – while on bail for a similar attack.

Andrew Kane, 21, pounced on the victim at his home in Clydebank.

The 20-year-old awoke to find her clothes pulled down and Kane having sex with her on October 3.

After the woman protested she had been sleeping, the rapist stated: “That is not the first time someone has told me that.”

The High Court in Glasgow heard today how Kane had previously struck on February 23, 2020.

He was at a house in the city’s Drumchapel when he later lay beside this first victim.

Both then appeared to be sleeping.

But, similar to the later victim, the 21-year-old woman wakened and found her trousers at her ankles.

Kane was confronted about what happened, but he soon left his crying victim.

Prosecutor Blair Speed said Kane was arrested the next day.

He appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on February 25 charged with the rape and was freed on bail.

This meant he was back on the streets and able to attack the second woman months later.

The court was told how the later victim hid in a bathroom until Kane had gone.

First offender Kane pled guilty to both rape charges at the hearing.

His lawyer Sean Templeton said: “He wants me to convey his deepest apologies to both of these young women.”

Lady Stacey remanded him in custody and deferred sentencing until next month for reports.

Scotmid pervert filmed customers’ underwear sneaking phone up their skirts

A shop assistant used his phone to secretly film up the skirts of unsuspecting customers.

Scotmid worker Robert Stevens recorded multiple women at two different stores without their knowledge.

When police raided his home in Lennoxtown they recovered several videos of him passing the camera under their skirts to film their underwear as well as 3,244 photographs and clips of “extreme pornography”.

The 33-year-old creep pled guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court and today was spared jail and an 18 month supervision order imposed.

It’s the second time he has avoided being banged up, in 2018 the creep was ordered to carry out 300 hours of unpaid work for a voyeurism conviction.

The court head today that Stevens was working at the Scotmid stores in Bishopbriggs and Milngavie when he filmed the unsuspecting customers between 2012 and 2017.

A number of devices were found at his home officers during the raid and later examined.

Prosecutor Lauren McRobert explained: “A phone video of him filming women before passing the camera under their skirt to film their underwear was initially recovered.

“The police identified the location of the videos.

“These are sites where Stevens was employed as a store assistant.”

Stevens – who no longer works for Scotmid – later admitted to police he had recorded the footage without the knowledge of the women.

Pervert who had schoolgirl mannequinn in his home walks free from court after filming girls with hidden camera

AN aeronautical engineer who secretly filmed young schoolgirls in uniform for almost nine years using a hidden camera escaped a jail sentence on Friday.

Instead 52-year-old Gary McGorm was ordered to perform 300 hours unpaid work and placed on the sex offenders’ register for three years.

Glasgow Sheriff Court was told that Gary McGorm used a camera hidden in a bag to record 51 videos of young girls.

The 52-year-old filmed them in restaurants, on public transport and while they were walking along the street.

None of his victims knew they were being filmed.

Police found a sick diary detailing his crimes – as well as a mannequin dressed like a schoolgirl at his home in Dumbarton.

The first offender pleaded guilty to a breach of the peace as well as acting in a threatening manner.

The charges spanned between June 2011 and February this year.

Sheriff Reid, who sentenced McGorm told him the community service was a direct alternative to custody as he had already spent the equivalent of a 12 month sentence on remand.

McGorm was initially caught after staff at a Taco Bell restaurant in Glasgow’s Sauchiehall Street were suspicious of him.

McGorm had a bag with a square cut out as a camera lens tracked two girls sitting nearby.

He then followed the pair out before staff alerted police.

Prosecutor Mark Allan said: “Officers observed a silver camera contained within an open shoebox inside the green carrier bag.

“The camera had 51 videos which featured female pupils being covertly filmed on streets, in fast food restaurants and on public transport.

“Those filmed were all school children in uniform.”

Mr Allan added: “At his home further 11 images of a mannequin dressed in a white shirt, grey skirt and a variation of socks or tights were recovered from a digital camera as was the mannequin itself.”

A diary – with what appeared to be a school motto on the front – revealed details of other similar incidents involving schoolgirls at Glasgow Central Station, on a train to Edinburgh and at a Subway restaurant.

It also appeared McGorm had a foot or sock fetish.
