Tebworth man jailed for making indecent images of five-year-old

Depraved Jeff Robinson took indecent photos of a five-year-old girl and then suggested to a stranger that he could sexually abuse her after sending him pictures of the her.

Included with the pictures was a sexually graphic account of what Robinson claimed to have done to the child.

Robinson from Tebworth near Leighton Buzzard made contact with the other man online using a special app that provided users with anonymity.

But after the man was arrested in Northamptonshire and police saw what the photos and messages on his mobile phone they set about tracking down Robinson to his home in Bedfordshire.

On Friday, July 10, the 52-year-old from Vine Road, Tebworth appeared for sentence at Luton Crown Court having earlier pleaded guilty to making indecent photos of a child, possessing a prohibited image of a child, taking an indecent photo of a child and publishing an obscene article.

Prosecutor Daniel Wright told how in June of 2018 Robinson, who the court heard had been involved in regular charity work over the years, was using a special messaging app in communications with a man in the Northants area.

There was talk between the pair concerning their interest in child sex abuse with the defendant telling the other man about sexual activity he had been engaged in that involved a five-year-old girl.

In one communication he told the man: “If you are interested we can have a lot of fun with her.”

Robinson said, he would “love” the other man to sexually abuse the child and the pair discussed meeting up.

In another communication with the man, Robinson said “Is it just a fancy for you or do you play with young for real”.

Robinson told the man about his own sexual activities with children and sent the man photos of the girl.

Mr Wright told the court how in November of 2018 police arrested the Northamptonshire man and upon examining his phone found the communications between himself and Robinson as well as the two indecent photos sent to him by the defendant.

Mr Wright said police were eventually able to track down Robinson and arrested him in July of last year.

On his phone they found 72 images of young children with inluded of the five-year-old girl he had been referring to during his communications with the Northants man

Passing sentence Judge Tayton said, she accepted that the defendant had not not touched the child sexually.

She said police had found material on his phone which included “graphic descriptions of child sex abuse.”

The judge told Robinson: “They were of a depraved nature.”

She jailed him for a total of two years and eight months and ordered his name be added to the sex offenders register.

He was also made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order, part of which will which will monitor his activity on the internet.

The judge ordered the forfeiture and destruction of his mobile phone.

Pervert avoids prison after downloading child rape images

A pervert has avoided a prison sentence after he was caught with image showing the rape of children. 

Matthew Menhenneott, aged 52 of Caldecote Road, Ickwell, Biggleswade appeared at Luton Crown Court where he was sentenced after admitting child sexual abuse charges

Menhenneott had previously pleaded guilty and was sentenced for five counts of possessing indecent images of children, including category A images which show the rape or torture of kids

Menhenneott is a partner Manager, Market Development at Refinitiv and works in London

The judge handed Menhenneott 10 months imprisonment which he suspended for two years

Menhenneott was ordered to carry out 250 hours unpaid work and he was told to register as a sex offender for 10 years.

A sexual harm prevention order was also imposed for a ten year period

Rapist attacked schoolgirl, 15, while she waited for bus before giving her £10

A man has been jailed after raping a teenage girl in broad daylight before giving her ten pounds in cash.

Twisted sex attacker Deangelo Brown has been sentenced to nine years in jail for his vile crime which took place in March last year.

The 23-year-old attacked a 15-year-old schoolgirl in an alleyway off of Harlesden High Street in northwest London after forcing her down the side-street while she waited for a school bus.

Witnesses came to the aid of the teen after overhearing her screams and subsequent sobs, finding her in distress in her school uniform.

A passerby helped the young girl who bravely reported the attack to police.

The attack took place on March 10 last year after Brown approached the teen and ordered her to follow him down the alleyway with the suggestion he was carrying a weapon.

Terrified, the girl followed him and was subsequently raped.

Brown left £10 for the victim as he left the scene.

A nearby witness captured the incident on their mobile phone after being alarmed to hear screams and cries before discovering the attack.

The witness called the police and comforted the victim until authorities arrived – with Brown arrested nearby soon after.

Brown was sentenced to nine years in prison and four years on license on Thursday after being found guilty of rape and sexual activity with a child.

Kerry McNulty, from the CPS, said: “This was a horrific sexual attack in broad daylight on a child in school uniform.

“The prosecution case included CCTV evidence of Brown in the vicinity and mobile phone footage of the attack itself. The young victim was also able to pick out her attacker during an identity parade.

“Brown has shown no remorse and subjected his victim to the ordeal of going through a trial despite the overwhelming evidence against him.

“Throughout proceedings, Brown claimed he had been a victim of mistaken identity, but the jury decided otherwise.”

The court also awarded £800 to the witness who came to the aid of the teen.

Rapist convicted of attacking teen

A man has been convicted of rape after a teenager was attacked in north London.

Deangelo Brown, 23 (07.04.97) of Bank Close, Luton was found guilty at Harrow Crown Court on Tuesday, 15 September of rape and sexual activity with a child.

He will be sentenced at the same court on Tuesday, 3 November.
