Ali Namjo, aged 36 and from Clase, Swansea, has been given a 16-year prison sentence after being convicted of sexually assaulting a child.
He faced two charges—assaulting a child by penetration and common assault—and initially denied the allegations.
However, following a trial held at Cardiff Crown Court in March 2026, the jury found him guilty.
The court sentenced Namjo on Monday, June 29, with the 16-year term consisting of 15 years of imprisonment followed by an additional year under licence.
In addition to his imprisonment, he will be subject to lifelong registration as a sex offender.
