Pervert caught by paedophile hunting team

A pervert who believed he was grooming a 14-year-old girl for sex has been sentenced following a paedophile hunting team sting operation

Brian Horrocks, 21 of Egerton Road, Blackpool appeared at Preston Crown Court where he was sentenced after pleading guilty to sexual communication with a child

The court was told that the child did not exist and was instead a member of paedophile hunting team ‘Totnes Justice

He was sentenced on the 20th January 2020 with the following.

• 16 Months prison suspended for 2 years.

  90 Day Rehabilitation Activity Requirement

  Four Month Curfew between 7pm and 6am for 4 Months.

  A Sex Offenders Treatment Programme.

  SHPO 10 Years.

Pervert sent for trial at Crown Court

A man has been sent for trial at Crown Court charged with committing a sex offence against a 13-year-old girl.

Brian Horrocks, 21, of Egerton Road, Blackpool is charged with sexually touching his alleged victim and in a second charge unlawfully detaining another girl.

Horrocks was bailed by Blackpool Magistrates on condition he does not have any contact with five named teenage girls.

Also, he must not have any contact with anyone under the age of 18.
