Pervert from Manchester has been jailed for non-recent child sex offences

In December 2016, police received a report that three boys, between the ages of 10 and 16, had been sexually abused in South Manchester in the 1990s.

An investigation was launched and Anthony Marino (03/09/49) of Rowarth Road, Wythenshawe was arrested and taken in to police custody for questioning.

He was subsequently charged with gross indecency with a child under 14, three counts of gross indecency with a child aged 10 and three counts of indecent assaults on not less than three occasions.

Marino pleaded guilty and, yesterday (Monday 27 July 2020), was sentenced at Manchester Crown Court to five years imprisonment.

He was also given a 10 year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for life.
