Man who sexually assaulted teenagers is jailed

A man who sexually assaulted teenage girls has been jailed.

Shekh Mohammed Alfu Miah, 49, was sentenced to two years and four months following a Minshull Street Crown Court trial.

A jury found him guilty of three counts of sexual assault by touching.

Miah, of Epping Close, Chadderton, Oldham, sexually assaulted the two young women in the summer of 2016.

Minshull Street Crown Court heard Miah sexually assaulted one of the victims on two occasions, including once in his car.

Around the same time, he sexually assaulted another teenage girl, again in his car.

Miah will also be registered as a sex offender for ten years.
