Man avoids prison sentence over child abuse images

A man has avoided a prison sentence after he appeared in court for images found on his computer

Alex Martin, 26 of knottingley appeared in court where he admitted downloading and possessing indecent images of children

Martin was given a two year probation order and was told that he must register a sex offender for five years

A two year sexual offences prevention order was also made which places restrictions on his internet use
