Aylesbury Man Jailed For Sexual Offence Against A Child

A man from Aylesbury, who sexually assaulted a girl, has been jailed for 2 and a half years.

Ian Waterworth touched the girl, who was under 13, in January last year.

The 35-year-old, from Lister Green, was found guilty and jailed for 30 months at Aylesbury Crown Court.

Ian Waterworth, aged 35, of Lister Green, Aylesbury, was convicted at Aylesbury Crown Court on 18 March after being found guilty by majority jury following a four day trial.

Waterworth was convicted of intentionally touching a girl under the age of 13, and the touching was of a sexual nature, during January last year.

He was arrested on 25 January 2015 and was charged with the offence on 18 March 2016.
