Manipulative’ sex beast left schoolgirl feeling ‘disgusting’
RAPIST Richard Hudson is back behind bars after sexually assaulting a teenage girl.
The serial pervert – who has a long history of sexual offending – indecently touched the youngster’s body.
It left the schoolgirl – who cannot be named for legal reasons – feeling ‘disgusting and horrible’.
Now the 41-year-old has been handed a nine year extended jail sentence at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court, which is made up of four years custody and an extended licence period of five years.
The court heard Hudson has numerous convictions for sexual offences, including several indecent assaults on females in the 1990s. In 2001 he was jailed for seven years for raping a woman at knife-point.
He has also twice been jailed for breaching his Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO).
Part of the order was that the defendant was not supposed to be alone with children.
But earlier this year he was on his own with his teenage victim.
Prosecutor David Lee said: “He put his arms around her and touched her intimately. She felt disgusting and horrible.
“She became agitated and started crying because she was so upset.”
The defendant approached the girl a second time and put his hand on her underwear.
Hudson, of Lime Street, Stoke, pleaded guilty to sexual assault, failing to comply with notification requirements and two charges of breaching his SOPO.
Joanne Wallbanks, mitigating, said: “These circumstances presented themselves to him and he took advantage of them.”
Jailing Hudson, Recorder Sally Hancox said: “You have behaved in complete defiance of court orders. This was disgraceful behaviour.
“You are manipulative and pose a significant and real risk to females. In my judgement you meet the criteria of a dangerous offender.”
Hudson will be on the sex offenders’ register for the rest of his life and is barred from a range of activities involving children and vulnerable adults.
He is also subject to an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order which prohibits him from contacting any girls under 18 without consent from the police public protection unit.
