Vicar’s son jailed over dog sex scandal & child sexual abuse images

Noah Yabbacombe - Lincoln

A vicar’s son who encouraged a schoolgirl to have sex with her pet dog while online has been jailed for a year.

Noah Yabbacome was arrested after police raided the St Nicholas Vicarage in Lincoln where his father David was the parish vicar.

Lincoln Crown Court was told that officers acted in February 2013 after learning of Yabbacome’s activities on the internet.

Yabbacome, who was downstairs with his parents when police arrived, initially denied he had done anything wrong but later went upstairs and confessed to swapping porn images admitting this may have included photos of an under age girl.

Computer equipment seized from the 24-year-old contained over 800 pornographic images of children together with 21 extreme porn photos. Officers also found evidence from chat log entries which showed that Yabbacome had made contact with what he thought was a 15 year old girl and encouraged her to have sex with her pet dog.

Judge John Pini QC told him “The public view this sort of offending with horror and justifiably so. Those who say it is purely on the internet and fantasy are missing the point. These images involve actual physical contact with real girls which resulted in serious sexual abuse of very young children causing incalculable harm. There has to be an immediate prison sentence.”

Police were unable to establish the identity of the person with whom Yabbacome had been communicating and were unable to prove that the internet conversation was with a 15 year old.

Yabbacome was bailed but later borrowed an iPod from a female friend and downloaded a further 700 child abuse images onto the device. When the owner was given the iPod back she discovered the material and reported the matter to police .

Yabbacome, who now lives in Vicarage Close, Collingham, Notts, admitted two charges of attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity.

He also admitted two charges of possession of indecent a total of indecent images of children and six charges of making indecent images,

He further admitted distribution of an indecent photograph of a child, possession of cartoon pornographic images of children and possession of extreme pornography. The offences took place on dates between April 2012 and June 2014.

He was jailed for 12 months and given a 10 year sexual harm prevention order designed to control his behaviour when he is released from his sentence.

“The breadth and gravity of the young man’s offending, especially as he offended on bail, makes this one of the most horrific cases I have been involved with.

He is a depraved individual. Some of the detail Officers have had to consider as part of the investigation is amongst the most hideously graphic I have seen.” Detective Sergeant 973 Vicky Midgley, Internet Child Abuse Team
