A Former bus driver has been jailed for taking indecent photographs of a teenager and molesting her.
Andrew Marlow, 44, of Patterdale Court, Chilwell, was sentenced to six years at Nottingham Crown Court.
Marlow was found guilty of 18 charges after a trial in January.
The court had heard the former Nottingham City Transport driver had a CD of child porn images under his mattress.
He had also taken indecent photographs of the teenager and sent them to a friend.
Marlow sexually abused the same girl, who was aged 15 at the time, and sent five indecent photographs of her to a friend in two e-mails.
One read: “All work and no play. How you fixed for some play?” Marlow had 188 indecent images of other children on his PC and a separate hard drive, the court was told.
He was arrested on August 23, 2005, and his computer seized by police. He left his job as a bus driver in 2005.
Marlow was released on bail but arrested again a month later on suspicion of raping the teenager. He denied having images of children on his computer and denied ever taking any indecent photos of the girl. He accepted he had adult porn on disk.
He was cleared of five rapes but found guilty on five alternative charges of sexual activity with a child. He was also found guilty of five charges of making indecent photographs, two of distributing them, four of making them and two of possession. He will be on the sex offenders’ register indefinitely.
