Seven and a half years in jail for sex attacks

A MAN convicted of indecently assaulting two girls has been jailed for seven-and-a-half years at Plymouth Crown Court.

Michael Taylor, aged 30, was found guilty at trial of four counts of indecent assault but was found not guilty by direction of one count of indecency with a child.

The incidents happened between 1998 and 2000.

The judge, Recorder Nigel Pascoe QC, ordered Taylor, of Grantley Gardens, Lower Compton, Mannamead, Plymouth to remain on the Sex Offenders’ Register indefinitely.

He was also made subject to an indefinite Sexual Offences Prevention Order.
