Former haulage company owner who sexually abused schoolgirl is jailed for six years

A former haulage company owner who sexually abused a schoolgirl has been jailed for six-and-a-half years.

Lee Jonathan Marlow (46) pleaded guilty to eight counts of indecently assaulting the child when she was aged between 11 and 14.

Leicester Crown Court was told the abuse had devastated the victim’s life.

Sentencing, Judge Robert Brown said: “The offences didn’t come to light for 20 years.

“Her life has been ruined. She’s lost her confidence and is full of self-doubt.

“She can’t enjoy normal sexual relationships because she’s haunted in those situations by the memory of what you did to her.

“Hopefully, with counselling and help, she will regain her life.”

The victim was an adult by the time she complained to police.

Judge Brown told Marlow, of Coltsfoot Way, Broughton Astley: “You abused her for your own sexual pleasure. You contrived situations to make it possible.”

Marlow was placed on a sexual offences prevention order for life, prohibiting unsupervised contact with females under 16.

He will also have to enlist on a sex offenders’ register indefinitely.

Victoria Rose, prosecuting, said the offences involved touching and a non-penetrative sex act, representing four separate incidents.

Miss Rose said the defendant told the victim they had “a secret”.

She said: “The complainant was at secondary school by the time she realised what he had done was wrong. It left her feeling ashamed.”

Miss Rose said: “She confronted the defendant at one point and told him she could never forgive him for what he’d done to her.”

Rebecca Herbert, mitigating, said: “There’s no excuse for his behaviour and he recognises the appalling nature of this abuse.

“He accepts fully that the consequences, for the complainant, have been huge and far- reaching.

“He’s been long-expecting it to come to light.

“It’s not something that happened repetitively and no force or threats were used.

“In other respects, he’s lived a fairly unremarkable life and worked hard to provide for his family.

“He formerly had a haulage business which was successful, but he’s now liquidated it.

“He’s lost his business because of what has happened.”

Ex-company director had ‘voracious appetite’ for indecent pictures of children – Walks free

ka

A DISGRACED former company director with a “voracious appetite” for indecent images of children had more than 300,000 of the sick pictures and videos on his computer, Hull Crown Court heard.

Stephen Kay, 57, a former director and shareholder of IPS Group, built up a stash of still and moving images of child abuse, and even created his own network of paedophiles to share them with.

Some of the images and movies were described as “extreme”.

But Kay, of Snaith Road, Rawcliffe, walked free from court with a suspended sentence because he was deemed to have a very low risk of reoffending.

Kay’s barrister, Antony Farrell, said that when police returned two of his computer hard drives, one of them still had indecent images on it.

Mr Farrell said: “He was absolutely horrified by this so he contacted his solicitor in order to return them. He was rather surprised that they had been sent back to him.”

Kay admitted six counts of possessing indecent images and one of distributing them.

Mr Farrell said Kay was “disgusted” by what he had done and that he may have put his wife’s job as a social worker in jeopardy.

Recorder Tim Roberts sentenced Kay to two years in prison, suspended for two years.

The judge said: “You have pleaded guilty to extremely serious offences involving the distribution, among other things, of child pornography.

“A large number of images were found in your possession, many of them extremely disturbing images of children. You had accumulated these over a period of time. This wasn’t just a passing acquaintance with this sort of material – you had established a network of like-minded people with whom you were willing to share these images.

“And the distribution of these images is a particularly alarming features of this type of behaviour.”

The judge said a probation service report, describing Kay as a being at low risk of reoffending, had been augmented by correspondence from his wife and daughter.

The judge said: “A number of observations have been made that this behaviour is completely out of character for you.

“It is not. It is very much within your character.

“The frequency with which you returned to these sites and gratified yourself with this material indicates that this is part of your character – a deeply entrenched part of your character – and that’s something that you must face and deal with.

“It’s something, too, which your family have to acknowledge.”

Kay must comply with a sex offenders’ treatment programme, must notify police of his address for ten years, have restricted use of the internet for ten years, and was barred from working with children for the same period.

A spokeswoman for Humberside Police said after the hearing: “We are aware of the claims that were raised in court in relation to a returned computer and we are now looking into the matter.”

Paedophile who possessed baby rape videos ran clinic offering hypnotherapy to CHILDREN

 tim

A convicted paedophile who hoarded videos of babies being raped and tortured ran a clinic offering hypnotherapy to children.

Timothy Millender, 32, continued working for Redwood Health Therapies after being given a six-month suspended sentence over his sickening collection.

Millender pleaded guilty at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court to having 740 pictures and 106 videos of children as young as six months being abused. Some of the films were level five, the most extreme level possible.

His website offered “hypnotherapy for children under 16”, and read: “We help children to free themselves of their bottled-up emotions by using a therapy called the ‘Blowaway Technique’ among many other well-recognised techniques from our team.”

The pervert was listed as a company director of the clinic which closed suddenly last week. Its premises appear to have been cleared out.

One of Millender’s former employees said: “It’s shocking a convicted paedophile could carry on running a business advertising services for children.

“The images he was looking at were of the very worst kind yet he walked free from court and was able to carry on running the clinic for two months after he pleaded guilty. It’s disgusting.”

Millender admitted having 740 paedophile images and 106 videos of children as young as six months being raped and abused. His films went up to level 5 – the most extreme, featuring sadism and bestiality.

He was ordered to sign the Sex Offender Register but returned to his company, which also offers beauty treatments and counselling to adults as well as children.

Earlier this month the clinic in Winchester, Hants, changed its name to St Giles Health and Beauty.

Millender was also listed as a director of the new company.

A sign on the door said: “We are now St Giles Health and Beauty. New name, new director, new management, new owners, the same therapists.”

But clients who arrived at the clinic for appointments last week found the door locked.

Another Company director pleads guilty

THIS is Timothy Millender of Bridge street Winchester Also known as Timothy J Millinder of Redbarn lane Fareham and Timothy M Millinder of Redbarn lane Fareham.

He also uses the name John to avoid detection.

This convicted pervert has sent us several emails demanding we take the conviction off our database, telling us that we had got our information wrong and this was defaming his good name and costing him customers.

He threatened us with various forms of legal action.

We had to investigate to find out exactly what was going on.

This took us on a journey which ended in a flaw in the UK court system.

We would like to share our findings with you, as we are sure the national media will follow up on our investigation and findings

He attempted to thwart the general public from finding out about his offences by changing the spelling of his surname before sentencing.

In February this year he was found guilty of possession of child abuse images and movies ranging in all levels of indecency including level with 5 with includes rape and torture of children. All of the images are of children aged 6 months to 14 years of age.

In total, he had 106 movies and approx 1000 indecent images of children.

He walked free from court with a suspended sentence

He is a company director of Redwood Health Therapies in Bridge Street, Winchester. Several staff had seen his conviction on our database and confronted him. But of course he denied the offences

We have fully investigated Timothy Millinder/Millender and categorically state that the man pictured is indeed the very same man sentenced at Winchester Crown Court in February 2014.

The courts and police have now been made aware of the “Spelling error” and an investigation is under way to establish whether it was an error or deliberate act.

In the event that it was a deliberate act, the case could be and should be recalled to the court for re-sentencing, should this happen we shall campaign for a prison sentence!

Please share and make everyone aware. For making us run around all week, and for spending extensive time on researching this conviction…..

Nephew of disgraced Jimmy Savile speaks of his shame as it emerges he is a convicted paedophile who was jailed for assaulting a schoolgirl

National Picture Theatre

The nephew of disgraced television star Jimmy Savile has today revealed that he is a convicted paedophile who abused a teenage girl.

Michael Johnson was sentenced to four years in custody in 1986 after admitting five counts of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl.

The former nightclub owner today revealed that he had served two-and-a-half years of the  sentence and claimed he had been completely ‘rehabilitated.’

He also expressed his own ‘self disgust and shame’ at the crime.

Mr Johnson, now aged 67 years, was among family members who decided to remove the headstone from the former Radio 1 star’s grave after the allegations of sex abuse came to light.

In a family statement they said they were ‘reeling’ with shock about their uncle’s past.

Today he said: ‘As a member of Jimmy Savile’s family, I too shared their feelings of disappointment and was appalled at the level of allegations made toward him after his recent death.

‘This has been a burden for me and my own immediate family since that time and have had to deal with the circumstances and devastating affects in my social domestic and business life and notwithstanding the more devastating affects on those that have been victims of Jimmy Savile.

‘My and my family burden now continues, in having to prepare this statement which refers to my own past of nearly 30 years ago when I served a 2.5 year sentence for a sexual offence against a 14 year old female.

‘I cannot stress my own self-disgust and shame together with the huge sorrow I have for that person.

‘Since my release I have been properly rehabilitated and with my forgiving family, have continued to live my life socially and from a business perspective, to the best of my ability whilst attempting to draw an underscore in that period of my life.

‘I sincerely hope that I am allowed to continue my life in peace in the community and not have to face the traumas of the past anymore and the family connection with Jimmy Savile which has devastated us, and those who admired him, prior to the allegations of the past.’

Mr Johnson’s own wife claims she was kept completely in the dark about her husband’s convictions until they became embroiled in a custody battle.

‘Social services carried out an assessment and, to my horror, their report revealed Michael had gone to prison in 1986, before I knew him, for sexual offences against a child,’ said 54-year-old Karen who lives in Loughton, near Milton Keynes, Bucks.

She said that she had visited ‘Uncle Jimmy’ with her husband a number of times during their marriage.

‘Uncle Jimmy always gave me the creeps.

‘Once he kept asking me to sit on his knee and he was grabbing me. It was disgusting.’

Mr Johnson is a director of city property company. He once ran the Talk of the Town nightclub in The Point in Milton Keynes.

Ms Davison said she met Mr Johnson in 1995 and that he actively pursued her while still married to another woman.

They married in 2004 before separating just two years later after Mr Johnson walked out in 2006.

She claimed she only learned of her former husband’s history of sexual offending after their relationship had ended.

As a result she called social services who carried out an assessment on her former partner and this later concluded that he was a low risk.

Suspended jail term for Gloucestershire businessman caught with child abuse pics

Graphic designer Colin Steward, who runs an erotic photography website, was caught with hundreds of indecent images of children on his computer, a court heard.

The 54-year-old, of Kingsholm Road, in Gloucester, who describes himself as a ‘voyeur’ pleaded guilty to 10 charges of making indecent pictures.

He was sentenced to six months’ jail suspended for 18 months and placed under supervision for 18 months.

Judge William Hart imposed an indefinite sexual offences prevention order and told him he will have to sign the sex offender register for 10 years. He was ordered to pay £175 costs.

David Maunder, prosecuting, said police raided Steward’s home on September 3 last year and found about 450 indecent images of children. More than half of them were at level four – one level below the most serious classification. They involved children in their early teens.

When Steward was interviewed by police and told what had been found on his computer he said he had an interest in what he called ‘erotica’.

Steward said he ran a website where he sought people wanting to have adult shots of themselves.

“He said he would be behind the camera rather than in front of it as he was a voyeur,” Mr Maunder added.

He said Steward told police he had been having personal problems over the last couple of years and added Steward was a man of previous good character.

Paul Trotman, defending, handed the court three references for Steward.

He said Steward was regarded by the probation officer as most unlikely to reoffend.

Passing sentence, Judge Hart said: “Until now you have led a perfectly honest, respectable and decent life and have brought up a family. You clearly have friends who value you extremely highly and have taken the trouble to write on your behalf.

“You have now let down yourself and those who speak highly of you. You now realise that every image of this sort has a victim, a real victim.

“Everyone, whether they pay for these images or not, helps fortify those dreadful people who produce the images in the first place and that of course leads to increased abuse of children, usually abroad but not always.”
