Perv caught with nearly 32 hours of sick sexual videos featuring children

A pervert was caught with more than 30 hours of sick videos featuring children between the ages of two and 15 being sexually abused, raped or torturd

Alasdair Rae, 20, was at home with his parents and sister when police raided the property to execute a search warrant at 7.50 am on July 2 last year.

Officers discovered hundreds of indecent images and videos of children on an iPad and iPhone belonging to Rae.

They also discovered online chats between Rae and an account called “Olivia” discussing and exchanging illicit images of children.

Fiscal depute Lynne MacVicar told Aberdeen Sheriff Court Rae confirmed the iPad and iPhone were his and said: “There’ll be stuff on them.”

He was taken to Kittybrewster and interviewed under caution when he made “various admissions”.

Police examined the devices and found internet searches for terms associated with indecent images of children.

Police found 361 images and videos on the iPad, including more than 100 videos classed as category A, the most serious.

On the iPhone 129 images and videos were found, including 28 category A videos.

The total play length of the videos found on both devices was 31 hours and 54 minutes.

Ms MacVicar added: “When the iPhone was examined, an instant message application ‘Telegram’ was found to be installed.

“When this was examined, a chat was found between the accused and an account named “Olivia”, in which the accused and the user of the Olivia account discussed and exchanged illicit images of children.”

The court heard the images and videos recovered featured children estimated to be between two and 15 years of age engaged in sexual activity and sexualised posing.

Rae, of Dubford Place, Bridge of Don, pled guilty to three charges, including taking, permitting to be taken or making indecent images or pseudo-images of children

He also admitted possession of such images and distributing or showing such images to others

The offences were committed at an address in Ellon or elsewhere.

Sheriff Graham Buchanan deferred sentence for reports, and defence agent David Sutherland reserved mitigation until the sentencing hearing.

Perv asked paedo hunter posing as girl if she slept in silk pyjamas or naked

A north-east pervert asked what he thought was an underage girl whether she would meet him for sex.

Aaron McIntyre was caught in August 2020 while messaging a fake Facebook account created by an adult member of a paedophile hunter group posing as a 15-year-old called Kasey-Anne.

He was seen to repeatedly ask the girl to engage in sexual activity and send him pictures of herself.

The 39-year-old also quizzed the child about whether she liked to sleep in “silk pyjamas or naked”.

McIntyre pleaded guilty at Aberdeen Sheriff Court to repeatedly message what he believed to be a child and of sending sexually explicit remarks, alongside attempting to induce the girl into meeting him and to send indecent images.

Fiscal Depute Victoria Kerr told the court: “On August 4 2020 a friend request was received from a male, the accused, to the account posing as Kasey-Anne.

“The creator accepted the friend request and immediately received a message from the accused.

“He replied to this message again posing as a 15-year-old girl and further conversation took place.

“The accused then sent messages to Kasey-Anne making reference to how she preferred to sleep – asking ‘do you like silk pyjamas, or cotton or do you prefer to sleep naked?’

“He then further asked ‘what are you wearing now? Pyjamas, underwear or nothing at all?’”

Ms Kerr said McIntyre had then went on to encourage the 15-year-old to meet up with him, stating that “it would just be between us”.

The court also heard how McIntyre described graphic sexual fantasies he wanted to carry out with the girl across repeated massages to the Facebook account.

He also asked the girl whether she would sleep with him despite the clear age difference between them.

Ms Kerr said: “He asked if she was free during the day and if they could meet up.

“As the conversation developed the accused sent further sexualised messages, stating ‘you’re so hot’, ‘you’re turning me on’ and ‘I shouldn’t be thinking what I am’.

Sheriff Donald Ferguson deferred sentence for McIntyre, of Balnagask Avenue, Aberdeen, in order for a criminal justice social work report and a restriction of liberty assessment to be carried out.

He also placed the 39-year-old on the sex offenders register.

Man confronted on doorstep by paedophile hunters who posed as 13-year-old girl

A pervert discussed having babies with what he thought was a 13-year-old girl – only to realise he’d been snared by online paedophile hunters.

Michael Cuthill contacted what appeared to be a 13-year-old girl on dating app Badoo and sent sickening sexual messages discussing having sex.

The 59-year-old even spoke about having babies together – only to discover he was actually messaging an adult member of an online child protection group.

He also sent the “child” an image of his genitals and arranged to meet her, only to back out at the last minute.

Fiscal depute Sean Ambrose told Aberdeen Sheriff Court three different groups had been involved in snaring Cuthill; Keeping Kids Safe, Forbidden Scotland and Hunting Online Predators Everyday (HOPE).

A member of the Forbidden Scotland group created a fake profile on Badoo pretending to be a 13-year-old girl, whose name the Evening Express has chosen not to use to avoid jeopardising future operations.

The decoy account was contacted by Cuthill, who was using the name Michael Johnson, and the pair initially engaged in general, non-sexual chat.

Mr Ambrose said: “The accused was repeatedly advised the female was 13, which he acknowledged but continued to message.”

Cuthill then requested the “child’s” mobile number, and the conversation moved to WhatsApp, where it became more sexual.

He asked her about her relationship status and sent a message reading: “I could wait for you until you’re old enough. Lol. xxx.”

The 59-year-old went on to ask if she’d like to meet discussed taking her “for a walk”.

He also made references to wishing to make her a Valentine’s Day card and said she was his “best friend”.

The conversation became increasingly sexual, with one of Cuthill’s messages reading: “I would love to have babies with you. Lol. Xxx.”

Other messages included: “When you’re old enough maybe we can have sex. Maybe one day we will be in bed together. Xxx.”

He also asked her sexual questions and requested a picture of her.

Cuthill said: “You should send me a picture of yourself and then delete it. Xxx.”

The decoy child refused the request.

Mr Ambrose said: “The accused sent various messages about wishing to have protected sex with the decoy and kissing her, despite being reminded she was 13.”

Cuthill also sent the “child” and image of his face and bare chest and asked: “Would you like to rub your hands over my chest?”

He also sent an image of his genitals, followed by explicit sexual messages.

As the content of the messages were read out in court Cuthill remained silent and hung his head in the dock.

Mr Ambrose said: “Conversation turned to the accused wishing to meet the decoy in person.

“Arrangements were made for him to travel by bus to Stirling to meet her.

“The accused backed out at the last minute stating the reason of her being too young.”

On February 22 2020 Forbidden Scotland shared the chat logs of the conversations with Cuthill with Keeping Kids Safe and HOPE.

The other groups attended at Cuthill’s door and confronted him while live streaming on Facebook and contacted the police.

On being confronted he his communications with the “child”.

He was arrested and when interviewed by police he admitted communicating with the decoy in the belief it was a 13-year-old girl, but “denied being sexually attracted to children”.

Cuthill, of Fullerton Court, Woodside, admitted attempting to cause a child under 16 to view a sexual image by sending the decoy a picture of his genitals on February 20 2020.

He also admitted attempting to communicate indecently with a child under 16 between February 7 and February 23 2020.

The offences were committed at an address in Westhill or elsewhere.

Sheriff Margaret Hodge deferred sentence until July for reports and made Cuthill subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act.

‘Walking skeleton’ sepsis dog dies as owner banned from keeping dogs for four years

A woman has been banned from owning dogs for four years after her pet dog was put to sleep after it was found like a ‘walking skeleton’ and ridden with sepsis.

Lola the dog was discovered starving, malnourished and in agony

Her eyes had sunk into their sockets, infection had eaten away at her ears her skin was hot to the touch, skin fell off her bones and was very weak according to animal welfare chiefs.

The Scottish SPCA inspector who found her described her condition as one of the worst she had seen in 13 years.

The Scottish animal welfare charity launched an investigation in Lola’s owner, Ashley Graham, from Peterhead, Aberdeenshire following a complaint from someone who had seen the dog’s condition.

Inspector Fiona McKenzie said: “When I first laid eyes on Lola, I was shocked. I could not believe what I was seeing. She was like a walking skeleton.

“She had no body fat or muscle, her skin just hung off her bones. There was no fat on Lola’s head and everything was sunken. Her eyes were cloudy with signs of infection and they had sunk back in to her eye sockets.

“Lola was suffering excessive hair loss from what looked like a chronic skin condition and her skin was hot to touch. Her ears had infected wounds which had eaten away at the edge of her ears. She was very weak and had a depressed demeanour.

“It was clear Lola was suffering from lack of nutrition and was in need of veterinary attention.”

But a trip to the vets couldn’t save little Lola, and she died in pain.

The vet concluded that Lola’s condition had developed over the course of several months causing a prolonged period of suffering.

The vets put Lola on antibiotics and a number of treatments and extracted her decayed teeth.

Despite this and the best efforts made by the Scottish SPCA to save her, poor Lola didn’t respond to the treatment for her septicaemia and the difficult decision was made that the kindest thing for Lola was to put her to sleep to end her suffering.

Graham was hauled into Peterhead Sheriff Court for sentencing after Lola’s death.

She was banned from owning dogs for four years.

Court also handed Graham a 100 hours’ community payback order.
