Loftus pervert admits performing sex act on dog and possessing extreme animal image

A Loftus pervert has admitted causing unnecessary suffering to a dog by performing a sex act on it.

Chloe Simpson, 23, appeared at Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Monday where the defendant admitted a string of charges.

They were:

• Three counts of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal, a dog, by carrying out a sex act between March 2019 and May 2020.

• Possessing a prohibited image of a child.

• Possession of an extreme pornographic image involving live animals, namely horses and dogs.

• Make an indecent photograph of a child, namely five category A photographs.

Prosecutor Alan Davison said police’s attention was drawn to Simpson when they were alerted to indecent images being downloaded.

He said electronic devices were then taken for analysis which unearthed troubling images.

He told the court: “The crown will say your powers of sentence are not sufficient.”

The case was transferred to Teesside Crown Court for sentence on a date to be set.

Simpson, of Dundas Street, Loftus, was granted unconditional bail until the sentencing hearing.
