‘Vile’ rapist locked up for over 14 years

A man who viciously attacked and raped a woman in a Grimsby street in March last year has today been sentenced to a total of 14 years and 10 months in jail.
Henry Froggatt, 25, of Grimsby Road, Cleethorpes pleaded guilty to rape and assault causing actual bodily harm at Grimsby Crown Court on Tuesday 7 July.
Today he was sentenced to 10 years and 10 months, with an additional 4 years added to his sentence because he has been classed as a dangerous offender.
In the early hours of Sunday 10 March 2019, a woman was walking home on Railway Street in Grimsby when Froggatt grabbed her from behind.
He took her phone from her before pushing her onto the floor, assaulting her repeatedly and carrying out his attack.
