Man jailed for committing child sex crimes

A man’s been jailed for committing child sex crimes on the Yorkshire coast.
Darren David Parker, 45, from Mount Road, Burnley, Lancashire, pleaded guilty to all ten charges against him at York Crown Court
Eight of them were for attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.
The other two were for attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity.
Parker has been sent to prison for 16 months.
He has been given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for 10 years and will also be on the Sex Offenders’ Register for 10 years.
He has to pay a victim surcharge of £140 and has been barred from working with children for life.
