Man admits sexual contact with schoolgirl

A 21-year-old from Shafton has been jailed after he pleaded guilty to having sex with a young girl

Jordan Wright of Tollgate Close, befriended the victim when she was just 12 years old

Sheffield Crown Court heard that Wright engaged in sexual activity with the girl when she reached 13

Wright admitted three counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child under 16 and three counts of engaging in oral sex with a child under 16

Wright was handed a 36 month prison sentence, which was reduced to 30 months due to his guilty plea.

Wright was told that he must register as a sex offender for 10 years
