Convicted man breached sex offenders register

A man who was convicted of sending sexual messages to children has appeared in court after breaching the terms of his court order

Andrew Scantlebury of Oxford appeared at Oxford Magistrates Court where he pleaded guilty to failing to comply with sex offender notification requirements.

Scantlebury was sentenced to a community order 

He must also:

• Attend a 25 day rehabilitation activity requirement

• Attend an accredited sexual offending programme for 31 days

• Receive treatment for alcohol addiction

• To be supervised by probation for 24 months
