Lee Varndell, of Musgrove Road, Taunton, was sentenced at Taunton Crown Court on Monday (July 24) after being convicted at a previous hearing. He was found guilty on two counts of sexually assaulting a male, and two counts of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child. Varndell was jailed for two years by Judge David Ticehurst, and was ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register for life. A sexual harm prevention order was also imposed by the court. Should the 35-year-old breach this order following his release, he could face up to five years’ imprisonment.
