A barman wept into his grandmother’s arms after he was handed a community order for having sex with a girl under 16 in Maidenhead.
Daniel Jackson, 19, was sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Friday last week.
He was given a two-year community order and made to register as a sex offender for five years after admitting three counts of sexual activity with the teenager.
Two charges of rape against Jackson, who works in a pub in Eton, were struck from the indictment.
Judge Peter Ross said: “You knew this young woman was under the age of consent and therefore knew what you were doing was unlawful.”
Jackson, of St Margaret’s Close, Iver, said his new girlfriend is 25.
