‘Courageous’ rape victim helps bring Slough paedophile to justice
Charles Webster, 76, from Rochford Gardens, was sentenced on Monday to 12 years behind bars for rape and indecent assault following a Thames Valley Police investigation.
He admitted one count of rape and three counts of indecent assault, with the offences occurring between 1969 and 1972 in Slough.
The victim was a child who was aged between 13 and 16 when the offences took place.
Webster pleaded guilty to the charges at Reading Crown Court on Wednesday, February 3 and was sentenced at the same court.
