Hepplewhite pleaded guilty at the last minute and was sentenced on the 20th October 2014 to Rape of a child under 16 years.

He was sentenced to 12 months, with restraining order of 5 years added for victims protection and further an order to sign the sex offenders registry for 10 years.

Upon release Hepplewhite has broken area conditions twice and breach of tag which had him sent back to custody.

As of October 2015 Hepplewhite is once again freed with curfew and conditions with his licence ending on 20th October 2015, those conditions have now ended.

Family member of Victim has had no belief in the system to help the family through such difficult times, help as been sought for but never fully given as while the freedom and injustice they have to live in that the system do not punish sex offenders to match the crime and the victims having to try and be brave, continue life and heal is continuously being halted and ruined by the conditions not being met by the offender.

The journey they have taken together to support one another and keep eachother safe from the offender has taken a toll on their daily life.

Friends of the family are supportive and continually checking in on the family, Whilst they continue to fight for added support networks to be put in place for the victim and theirselves so Hepplewhite can no longer be around the victim.

Connor Hepplewhite is now free once again in Doncaster and while the victim tries to carry on moving forward through life daily the victim and family wants to give awareness so no one is ever to be a victim of Hepplewhite again.
