Father of four ‘thrilled’ by worst category of child abuse images

A FATHER of four with a compulsion to download the worst child abuse images he could find has been sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison.

James Wicks, 36, had 206 category four and five images, the worst types, among 1,346 on his computer.

Wicks, an alcoholic, said he hated what he did, but described himself as an ‘obsessive compulsive’.

Wicks, 36, pleaded guilty in the Royal Court to 14 counts of ‘making’ – downloading and storing – the images between September and November 2009.
