A PAEDOPHILE who stamped on his pregnant victim’s stomach in a bid to abort their unborn baby has been jailed for 15 years.

Leroy Blake, aged 47, of Verdon Street, Burngreave, Sheffield, had repeatedly raped and sexually assaulted the girl from when she was just nine.

The girl, who cannot be named, was attacked by the Montserrat-born beast in what he termed “little games” until she fell pregnant aged 12.

Jailing Blake, Judge Louise Kamill said: “You regularly raped her in her own bed, starting when she was only nine years old.

“Your activity ended with her when she bore you a child.

“When she gave birth she was hardly 12 years old.”

Blake who has a dozen children by five different women, attempted to terminate the pregnancy.

Judge Kamill said: “You tried to harm the baby she was carrying by standing on her stomach.”

Fortunately the girl later gave birth to a healthy son, Snaresbrook Crown Court heard.

Blake was arrested last year after his victim, now 27, reported the abuse, which took place in Islington, north London, between 1990 and 1994.

He told police: “Me never have sex with that girl, so how can me be the father of the baby?”

Blake even claimed the youngster might have injected herself with his semen, said prosecutor Robin Miric.

He later admitted preying on the girl after DNA tests confirmed he was the boy’s father.

His victim said Blake, who is also known as Daniel Blake and Leroy Sylvester, “almost destroyed my character”.

Blake later moved to Sheffield where he cared for his mentally disabled son from a different relationship until his arrest, the court heard.

Judge Kamill ordered Blake to sign the sex offenders’ register for life. Blake was also banned from contacting, living or working with anyone under 16.

The judge said: “It has taken your victim nearly 20 years to be able to speak about your activity. She no doubt suffered throughout her adolescent life.”

Blake admitted rape, sexual intercourse with a girl under 13 and two counts of indecent assault.
