I’ve decided to exclude the name of the girl in the case even though she admitted 14 counts of making indecent images of children, and recieved a community order, she must also sign up to the sex offenders’register for five years, because I firmly believe the girl was groomed so intensely that she would of done basically anything Regan wanted.

Fazakerley man jailed after persuading teenage girlfriend to download child porn
A PERVERT who persuaded his teenage girlfriend to pose for pornographic pictures and download child porn was jailed for eight years.
Barry Regan, 45, had a stash of more than 29,000 images and videos of paedophilia on his computer and admitted his craving for the material was “like a drug.”
Regan, of Harrismith Road, Fazakerley, also traded the pictures with other perverts.
In one sick episode, he watched on a webcam and wrote messages of encouragement as a dad abused his four-year-old daughter.
At Liverpool crown court yesterday, Judge Bryn Holloway was shown examples of the images by Merseyside police’s abusive images unit.
He said they were the “most grotesque images of abuse he had seen” in 18 years on the bench.
The court heard Regan began grooming the girl through an internet chatroom when she was just 15.
After starting a sexual relationship with her, during which time he filmed and took pictures of her performing sex acts on him, Regan encouraged the teenager to download child porn for him on to her laptop.
Their activities were discovered last January when the girls foster carer found a USB stick in her room filled with images of child abuse and informed police.
Under questioning, Regan revealed his webcam contact with a fellow paedophile from Essex, who he had seen abusing his four-year-old daughter.
Files on his computer showed Regan egging on the dad, who was eventually jailed for 10 years.
On one occasion, the man said he could not do anything with the child because “the missus is downstairs”.
David McLachlan, prosecuting, told the court how in a web chat Regan had suggested he and the girl would meet with the abuser, and asked him to bring his daughter along for “some fun”.
He even went as far as surfing the internet for hotels where the warped meeting could take place.
Regan, who was described as a hard-working man with no previous convictions, was in regular contact with other paedophiles and would often exchange images.
He took video footage of the girl on his mobile phone of her performing sex acts on him, and distributed these among his network.
The court heard more than 3,500 images found by detectives on Regan’s computer were in categories four and five, deemed by the authorities as the most extreme child porn.
When interviewed by police, Regan said he was addicted to getting his fix of the images.
He told officers: “Wanting to get the next image or the next file or whatever does take over you – you just want to do it.
“You have got to get the next one. It is very difficult to explain, it is like a drug and it is addictive.”
He said he preferred movies to pictures and he preferred the children to be aged between seven and 14.
The girl was arrested after downloading child porn images for Regan. He told her his laptop was being repaired, when in fact it was seized by the police.
He asked her to get the some of the “stuff” he liked and she said she would get it while typing up her homework.
Desmond Lennon, defending Regan, said: “The images he saw shocked and excited him at the same time.”
Regan pleaded guilty to two counts of aiding and abetting the sexual assault of a child, four counts of distributing child porn, 15 counts of making indecent images of children and two counts of taking indecent pictures of an under-18.
Anthony Longworth, defending the girl, said she came from an unstable background.
He said Regan was predatory in “introducing her to fetishistic and bizarre sexual activities.”
Jailing Regan, Judge Bryn Holloway said the eight-year term was designed to punish him and deter others.
He said: “Hopefully for many years to come the public will be protected from you and your malign influence.”
Regan was also ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register for the rest of his life.
