A paedophile from Chorley has been jailed for 12 years for raping and carrying out other sexual offences on young children.
Trevor Morris, 25, who committed some of the crimes while he was babysitting, was convicted of twenty charges including seven of rape and ten of indecent assault.
His four victims were three girls and a boy whom he looked after at addresses in Leyland and Clayton Brook.
He was sentenced to 12 years in prison and disqualified from working with children at Preston Crown Court.
Judge Pamela Bradley told Morris that the jury had found him to be a serial and persistent sexual abuser.
She added: ”The risk you present to children has been assessed as high and an extended sentence is recommended.”
She ordered that Morris, formerly of Buckshaw Hall Close at Astley Village, be placed on the sex offenders register for life
