EX-Marlborough College teacher Andrew Richards has escaped jail for downloading child pornography.
The 44-year-old bachelor was teaching at the public school last April when it was discovered he had been looking at obscene material on his computer. He later resigned.
Richards admitted two counts of possession of indecent images of children when he appeared at Salisbury Magistrates Court on Friday. He was given a two-year conditional discharge and was ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register.
