Pervert admits possession of indecent images of children

A pervert is facing sentence for downloading child abuse images and extreme material featuring adults in sexual activity with animals.

Paul Standen of High Street, Cranbrook admitted four offences of possessing indecent images of children and one of possessing extreme pornographic images of beastiality

The court heard that there was 44 moving and still indecent images of children and 17 movie clips involving animals having sex with humans

Sentencing the 50-year-old electrician, formerly of Maidstone was adjourned until after September 21 for reports.

Asked if the images should be made available, Judge Statman said: “I’m sure no Judge here will want to see them”

He told Standen: “You have had the good sense to plead guilty and that will hold you in good stead before the Judge who sentences you.”

“In my judgement, this offence clearly passes the custody threshold”
