Taunton Paedophile sentenced

A Taunton pervert has been found guilty of child abuse image offences

Simon Hinchliffe Slawson, 39, of Thomas Street, Taunton was found guilty of:

1. Possession of 39 indecent photos of children

2. Six counts of making an indecent photo of a child

3. Failed to comply with the terms of the Sexual Offences Act by failing to notify the police of his correct address

Slawson was given a community order

Ordered to pay £85 costs and placed on a Sexual Offences Prevention Order for five years

He also made subject to a notification requirement to register with police for five years.
